Shower fix

We had a bit of a leakage problem through some of the grout around the tiles.  After stripping and exposing the wall, we now start the process of reconstruction.  

Spring is just around the corner....

Victoria Grizzlies 1-4 Powell River Kings - Game 6

Game 6 of the Coastal Conference finals.  Powell River won the first game, the Victoria Grizzlies won the next three and now have dropped the last two to set up a Game 7 tonight in Powell River.  

Go Grizz.

Work/Live condo development in heritage building

While walking downtown on Saturday we came across one of the heritage building developments. Not sure if funding is totally in place or they ran out, because there is not a lot of activity going on.

They would be pretty cool downtown heritage building condo's.

Changing face of downtown Victoria

I had went to the Imax to watch Arabia (for the 3rd time :) ) and when leaving looked across to one of the latest residential condo's completed.  In and around this area, no fewer than 5 of these projects have been completed. Victoria has grown a fair bit since we moved here in 1994.

Our usual Saturday morning walk takes us past the Point Hope Shipyards.  They seem to be getting more work from BC Ferries which is good for the local tradesmen and the local economy.
