Oven roasted garlic cloves
Debra makes these a dozen at a time and uses them in everything from spaghetti sauce, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, anything that tastes good with garlic. One of our favorites is to mash them with a little olive oil and spread on flatbread, sprinkle with a little parmesan cheese, in the oven till browned slightly. Oh my, it is so delicious!

Live from Whistler - Olympic Ladies Super-G
53 skiers at Whistler Creekside for the Ladies Super-G. You can see the size of the crowd in the photos. There were heaps of Americans hoping to see Lindsay Vonn win another Gold medal. Didn't happen. Lots of wipeouts and DNF's. The racing started at 10 am and wound up about 1 hour and 40 minutes later. By that time, it was at least 9 degree's on a beautiful sunny Saturday.

Saturday Soccer in Sooke
The fields were awful and the concession stand not much better. Clayton's team was down to 10 men due to injury early on and ultimately fell to Sooke 2- nil. Beautiful day for soccer though.
