Every Christmas Debra and the kids make this Christmas fudge recipe (x 10) :).
The recipe recommends that it "dry" overnight. This is one part of the recipe that we do not obey. The fudge is heavenly.

Mom R's Birthday Celebration

We had a wonderful birthday celebration with Mom R at Milanos in Nanaimo. In all there were 22 of us enjoying a meal and good conversation.

Afterwards, those who could went back to Ron and Corrine's in Parksville for coffee and dessert.

Saturday morning walk

We gave the Sour Pickle a miss this morning and headed in the opposite direction along the Gorge waterway. Our destination was Canadian Tire but first we needed COFFEE! We passed by this storefront with a Police officer in the shop looking things over.

It was a beautifully sunny day today but with a cold wind. It will be dropping to the freezing level or below tonight.
