Thunderbird Park

Ed and I wandered around the Inner Harbour area this morning. The weather was great and we enjoyed a coffee at the Flying Otter Grill.

My brother Ed....

....dropped by for a visit. We spent last evening and this morning catching up on each others (and families) lives. It was good to see him. Thanks for visiting Ed!! See you again.

Casualty of yesterdays wind storm

The condo birdhouse I made many years ago. It fell into the herb garden right on top of the Rosemary bush. The birdhouse has only been broken on two other occasions and both times it was from raccoons.

Killing time at the Inner Harbour before the next Imax movie - Hubble

Hubble was awesome. It chronicled the three Space Shuttle crews that were involved in launching, fixing and upgrading components of the Hubble telescope. It is amazing the photos that Hubble has beamed back to earth. It has opened up deep space to astronomers worldwide.

Another movie now playing is called Pulse. The preview had me smiling and we will be seeing that one as soon as possible. And, the big news for our Imax theatre is that Avatar opened on Friday night and will be playing until at least early June. Can't wait to see it on the big Imax format screen.

The movie was The Ultimate Waves of Tahiti. Debra and I were not overly impressed with the story line. We voted not to bring the feature in, but we were in the minority. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Spring Rain

Debra is just tickled pink that we are getting all this rain! It is sooooo good for the garden. The boys have done a lot of work in the garden over the last couple of weeks, a great help for Debra as she is getting acupuncture to relieve her chronic tendinitis.

Live from the 'French Quarter' at Hot Jazz Jubilee

Clayton and Debra attended the Opening night of the Jazz Festival on Thursday night. Debra and I went for the rest of the weekend including "Gospel with Yve Evans" on Sunday morning. It was fantastic. Next year, they will have a Gospel Choir as well which we look forward to hearing.
