Last car on the boat - too close for comfort

We passed the big sign on the highway which was stating "No Waits". My iPhone was showing 81% Full at the same time. We drove up to the booth and normally if it is going to be close, they give you some warning. We were the very last car and they put up the fencing after we got on.

Meetings in Vancouver

Meeting with BC Hydro on our project in Prince George. Beautiful sunny day in downtown Vancouver. It seems like the warm weather is here at last.

Fixing the compost bins

We rotate our compost bins so every year we have one bin with nice compost to go into the garden. Every couple of years we need to replace a few boards and a post or two due to rot. Clayton helped out with the job today.

Frosty Saturday morning

Cold but sunny morning. The day warmed up well into the low teens. It is going to be sunny and highs of 13 over the next few days. Great weather to keep working in the garden getting ready for summer.

A buyer from Vernon met me on the mainland at the ferry terminal to do the paperwork. I was losing a place to park it and will at one point buy a dual purpose bike. It was fun while it lasted.

Good Friday

Good Friday is the Friday within Holy Week, and is traditionally a time of fasting and penance, commemorating the anniversary of Christ's crucifixion and death. For Christians, Good Friday commemorates not just a historical event, but the sacrificial death of Christ, which with the resurrection, comprises the heart of the Christian faith.

The Friday before Easter Sunday is known as Good Friday or Dark Friday. In this day we remember the cruel death of Jesus Christ on the Cross. He loved us so much that he was willing to take on the sin of the world and die for us, so whom ever belives in Him can have eternal life. Jesus was Crucified on Good Friday and died on the Cross for the Sin of the World. He rose from dead on Easter Sunday.
