My new office

This picture was taken with my camera phone. Not bad eh? It is quite different having to travel to a workplace after so many years working from home. Still, it is only a 10 minute drive, but compared to a 8 second commute to my basement office........

Nice night for a fire

We have gotten so much use out of this little patio over the years.

Beautiful morning

It is going to be a sunny warm day here in Victoria. Predicted high of 24 degrees. It is supposed to be much cooler and highs around 19 degrees later in the week with a good probability of precipitation. Oh well, it has been a strange summer weather wise.

This is a rocket launching platform that is in drydock for repairs. The last rocket launch failed and the rocket blew up on the platform. It was completely blackened and some components were obviously ruined. It has been here since June and is going to be sent back out in September or October.

Jack and Judi: Thanks so much for hosting and opening up your home. It was great to get to talk with most everyone and to meet John (after a long absence) & Nancy and their kids. Attendance by a pair from Saskatchewan (Edwin and Heather) was a nice surprise as well.
The afternoon/evening was very enjoyable. When do we do it again?????

Adorable playhouse Mike built. It will get plenty of use from the kids.
